Use a flat pry bar to remove drip edge nails along the eave and rakes. Tools and materials needed. Once all the underlayment is applied go back and place. Place the metal roof drip edge flashing along the gable ends.

Ladder flat pry bar hammer tin snips eave stripping galvanized roofing nails. Cut out the damaged section with a circular saw. To locate rotted areas of the roof s edge gently lift up shingles with a pry bar or taping knife. Any damaged plywood should be replaced.

At 7 05 paul begins replacing the drip edge roof flashing. Slide the flat bar under starter course and pry out the nails. Save yourself some. You may need to use a putty knife to break the seam between the first course and the starter strip.
